FORUMS FOR SCHOOL LEADERS, TEACHERS OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND RUSSIAN-LANGUAGE SUBJECTS IN UZBEKISTAN AND TAJIKISTAN

From 28 to 30 October 2024 in the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the Bukhara University of Innovations, a Forum of school leaders, teachers of Russian language and subjects in Russian language was held, which was supported by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The discussion platforms of the Forum discussed the issues of effective management of educational organisations, as well as the difficulties of teaching Russian and subjects in the Russian language faced by teachers in the Republic of Uzbekistan. On 7 November 2024, a similar Forum ended in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was organised by Rossotrudnichestvo with the support of the Patrice Lumumba Institute of Russian Language at the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University in Dushanbe. From the publishing house ‘RUSSIAN LANGUAGE. CURSES Dmitry Evgenievich Silin took part in the discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of printed and electronic textbooks. He also spoke at a joint master-class with Svetlana Yelnikova, First Deputy Director of the Russian Language Institute of PFUR, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, on the topic: ‘How to choose the right effective textbook on Russian language: authors, methods, approaches’.
