The event was attended by bilingual children and their parents, who noted the value of such events, first of all, for creating a language environment for children of the same age to communicate and the opportunity to purchase books from modern Russian children's publishers on the spot. Almost all the books of the exhibition were sold out, many of which were brought to order. The Russian-speaking community of Belgium responded warmly to the holding of such interactive events and clearly indicated the need for regular repetition of such events.
On February 28-29, a book exhibition "Russian Editions: Meetings with authors" was held in Brussels (Belgium).During seminars and master classes, experts shared with the audience a modern vision of Russian educational technologies and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Svetlana Remizova, General Director of the publishing house "Russian Language. Courses", which presented the novelties of the publishing house and described current trends in the construction of the content of educational literature. Russian Russian Word Publishing House Boris Zhitlevsky, Head of the Department for the Development of Innovation activities and projects, focused on the methodology of teaching RCT in the manuals "I Speak and write in Russian". Elena Osipova, Deputy Director of the ANO "Institute of Problems of Educational Policy "Eureka", held a seminar on the trends of multilingual learning in the modern educational space.
Meetings with textbook authors, master classes, lectures, autograph sessions with writers - these and many other events were organized by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) and the Eureka Institute for Educational Policy Problems. The exposition of Russian publications included more than 500 books and textbooks, and over 200 people visited the exhibition in Brussels in two days.
