The book is the first in a line of manuals on the world created specifically for bilingual children studying Russian in schools of additional education abroad. The purpose of the manual is the development of Russian speech based on the study of the surrounding world, as well as the general development of the child, the formation of his cognitive abilities.

By repeating what is already known and learning new things about the world around them, children learn to observe and compare not only natural, but also linguistic phenomena.

Book 1 introduces 6-7-year-olds to the diversity of nature, the seasons, gives an idea of society, culture, instills norms of environmentally literate and safe behavior in the natural and social environment.

The tasks of the manual correspond to test diagnostic materials for bilinguals and prepare students for passing the certification test on a meta-subject basis.

The book is designed for classes during one academic year (1 hour per week).
