Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor at the Department of Language Didactics of Russian as a Foreign Language and Bilingualism of the Moscow Pedagogical State University. Research interests: the nationally oriented approach to teaching, teaching Russian as a foreign language within pre-university preparation, teaching foreigners the language of their future speciality (the engineering and technical profile), cultural linguistics, neuro-language didactics, and the speech development of bilingual children. Author of three monographs, more than 70 scholarly articles and more than 10 textbooks and study aids. She has worked at Le Quy Don University (Vietnam) and has run methodological seminars for teachers of Russian in Egypt, Turkey and Serbia.
